Lorenzo

Lorenzo’s work exhibits the strength of classical realism bringing to life old master techniques, style and charm.

This “Contemporary Old Master” was able to take advantage of the rich heritage of the sixteenth-century Italian Renaissance artists as well as later French and Western World artistic developments. Drawing and painting have been his only passions since he was a very young child, and in his early 20’s he approached the field of religious art. From assisting on scaffolding to all the elaborate phases of classic fresco technique, Lorenzo’s “Agony & Ecstasy” stands for posterity on the ceilings and domes of many cathedrals.

Born in Bucharest, Romania, Lorenzo moved to the United States in 1986. His elaborate background and exceptionally elegant manner in drawing and painting have paved the way for his work being fashionable in American interiors.

He successfully completed many large-scale art projects and portrait com-missions for corporate as well as private clients; his work is now eagerly sought after by a continually increasing number of collectors. While he lives with his family in Laguna Hills, California, Lorenzo maintains his art studios in Laguna Beach.

Tasteful and refined in an almost mono-chromatic palette, Lorenzo’s fine artwork expresses the timeless value of old masterpieces.
